Garden Science Program
Our garden is part of what makes our school so unique. Every class has their own garden bed to cultivate in addition to weekly garden science curriculum guided by Garden School Foundation.
GSF provides in-depth, garden-based education to children at Title I schools in Los Angeles, strengthening connections between food justice, environmental stewardship, and community health. By combining both gardening and nutritional cooking classes, we harness the full transformative potential of school gardens as teaching sites, nurturing a healthy and mindful generation of children that care for their bodies, their communities, and the earth.
